We at Hearts To Helpers are committed to empowering domestic workers and enhancing the quality of life for helpers in Hong Kong.
Hearts To Helpers, established in 2024, is a student-led initiative that organizes city-wide clothing drives in Hong Kong aimed to advocate for domestic workers and provide a reliable stream of accessible and affordable clothing. We are also aim to raise awareness through our social media documents @heartstohelpers.hk and are planning future projects to assist helpers in the long term.
Our organization aims to address a significant issue: the excessive wastage of clothing by affluent individuals, contrasting with the limited resources provided to minority communities who struggle to provide for their families.
Our goal is to bridge this gap by channeling the surplus clothing to those who truly need it. By fostering a culture of compassion and social responsibility, Hearts To Helpers aims to empower domestic workers, advocate for their rights, and promote sustainable practices by reducing clothing waste. Together, we can make a difference and support the hardworking community of helpers who sacrifice substantailly to work for our families.
